We’re looking for a high-energy pragmatic self-starter with a hands-on entrepreneurial mindset who has a deep passion for innovation in energy and mobility sectors. It‘s a unique opportunity to work with an international team based out of Vilnius, Lithuania. No prior experience is required
Spring Analyst will help to analyze early-stage investments in the energy and mobility space and work closely with Contrarian Ventures team to develop investor mindset. During the internship, our team will focus on teaching analysts about the venture capital business. You will receive training on how to best speak to entrepreneurs, assess different business models that are attractive to Contrarian Ventures investment strategy, how deals are structured, and the lifecycle of a deal. The analyst will work closely with the team, however, will report directly to the Managing Partner and will assist in all phases of the investment process.
By the end of your internship, you will have evaluated hundreds of business and business models, gained industry and market expertise, and developed an understanding of the entire venture investment cycle.

Requirements

Problem-solving: Ability to effectively identify issues and come up with solutions, often in an unconventional manner to reach desired team goal
Attention to detail: does not let important details to slip through eyes
Planning and organization: Ability to plan, organize and multi-task in an efficient manner to meet tight deadlines. Previous experience with Slack, SalesforceIQ (or Affinity) and Trello is a plus
Analytical skills: Be inquisitive and analytical through gathering and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information, having the ability to analyze situations, draw appropriate conclusions and make value-added recommendations. You will see the big picture, and you’ll sweat the tiniest details. Programming skills are a plus
Communication: Strong Communicator and is able to convince others to pursue a course of action. Able not only to speak, but also to listen and values other and especially team members opinions
Teamwork: Values team, reaches out to peers
Entrepreneurial-minded: Approaches every problem in a new novel way with open-mind and naturally possess leadership skills
University Degree in a quantitative field with outstanding academic achievement
Perfect English language (other languages is a big plus)
Salary: non-paid
